Inclassables Mathématiques 2.0

Il y a un an et demi, j'enfilais quelques perles mathématiques sur Pearltrees presque seul. Aujourd'hui, force est de constater que la culture de la perle se porte bien et nous permet de faire une visite originale du web mathématique.

L'édito (maths)

C'est déjà la deuxième édition de Festimaths. Deux mois se sont écoulés depuis la première. Je pourrai recopier mot pour mot  l'éditiorial précédent: aucun lien ne m'a été envoyé. Là pour le coup on ne peut pas mettre ça sur le dos des vacances...

Ces deux mois ont été marqués par de nombreux billets au sujet des deux médailles Fields, comme l'a relaté Infiniment.com, mais aussi par le décès de Benoît Mandelbrot. Eljjdx retrace avec brio son parcours et Jos Leys nous fait partager des merveilleuses images de Fractales. 

La réforme des retraites

Elle n'a pas laissé indifférents les blogueurs. Guy a décidé de se lancer dans l'algorithmique de l'âge de départ et Arthur dans le comptage des manifestants. A quand un vrai matheux au gouvernement ?

Halloween

Le coyote a semble-t-il été inspiré par la découpe de la citrouille, exercice qui reste hautement mathématique et se ramène à un exercice de découpe de la pomme. Il en est de même pour Sonia qui en profite pour faire un petit rappel sur les solides de Platon. Et juste avant la limite de publication, Eljjdx nous fait peur avec son groupe Monstre.

Mathematice fait peau neuve avec une nouvelle formule et Mathenpoche Seconde grandit.

Le réforme du lycée fait aussi parler d'elle. C'est le cas sur Mathéphysique et sur Algorythmes.

Interstices aborde le sujet du développement de l'enseignement de l'informatique au lycée.

Il est à noter la venue au monde d'un petit dernier blog dans la famille, rempli de tutoriels Geogebra: "Autour de Geogebra".

La régionale de L'APMEP de Lille a mis en ligne le premier blog de l'Association des Professeurs de Mathématiques de l'Enseignement Public. Cette initiative, novatrice pour l'association, est à saluer.

Images des Mathématiques met au grand jour les appréciations scolaires de Galois. C'est incontournable!

Docteur Goulu explore le couplage Sculpture/Sciences ainsi que la possible disparition de la focale.

Un peu d'informatique

Comment Google classe ses pages Web? C'est mieux quand c'est bien expliqué par Interstices.

Logique

Quelle différence y-a-t'il entre vérifier et confirmer?  La réponse sur le blog Sciences.

Des vraies maths

Sur Kilomaths on simule l'équation des ondes en dimension 2.

The dude minds poursuit toujours le récit de son émerveillement mathématique aux travers d'exemples et de situations toujours pertinentes.

David Madore fait partager de belles représentations du graphe de Higman-Sims.

Les abeilles

Au début, c'était les abeilles et en 2010 ça continue sur le blog "Le webinet des curiosités". Il paraitrait même qu'elles sont plus rapides que les ordinateurs des  matheux... On a pas fini d'en parler alors.

Arthur Charpentier joue les "Mac Gyver" en groupe. C'est drôle mais ça reste des maths.

Missmath l'a bien vu, ça ne sert à rien mais c'est sympa quand même. Depuis quand ne devrait-on parler  que de choses utiles? D'ailleurs sur ce sujet, certains sont très performants. Non je n'ai pas parlé de politique.

Dans la rubrique humour, la légère erreur de calcul 9x8=76 n'est pas passée inaperçue. Et dire qu'on va encore diminuer l'horaire de maths en lycée...

Et pour conclure indéfiniment la rubrique, on sait maintenant pourquoi la vache qui rit rit...

Le surprenant blog de Juan Guilado Cocina y Matematicas

Wikio vient d'éditer une jolie carte des blogs : la Wikiopole.

Les blogs de Sciences y sont peu nombreux (12), ils sont en gris, au milieu et tout à droite. Il n'y a pas de blogs de maths dans les 1500 premiers blogs (sniff) et les sciences dures y sont quasiment absentes.

Je suis tout particulièrement surpris de l'importance de la catégorie "Divers" (en bleu foncé). Ce qui démontre que Wikio a au moins autant de difficultés à classer ses blogs, que moi ce qui concerne les mathématiques !
